Tawe Uchaf Community Council is a small Community Council locatedat the top end of the Swansea Valley.
The Council is within the County of Powys and part of the Community is within the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The villages of Penycae, Ynyswen, Caehopkin and Coelbren lie within the Council boundary.

The Council employs a Clerk who works part-time Monday to Friday the hours are 8am - 11am.
